New Music for X-mas

Hey bloggers, I have been away for so long. To be honest though there hasn't been much new music to rave (I actually hate that word at the moment) about. But it seems that the Christmas spirit has got so many producers creating amazing tracks for this year and previews for 2011.

First we have some progressive trance for you with Fafaq - Carimucho. Apparently this Polish DJ's name stands for (Fucking Annoying Frequently Asked Questions) I don't know if this is true though. Carimucho has an awesome tech/progressive buildup, then at about 4:45 it spirals into beautiful true trance beats with excellent synths.

Next I have for you some pretty epic Tech-House called Girl (Mark Simmons Instrumental Mix) by House Guru Yves Larock & Tony Sylla featuring Tara McDonald, but as this is the instrumental mix, no vocals are heard. The Intro is pretty basic but then breaks into awesome synths and excellent piano play. 5 stars, a definite for any type of set or party.

Another house track for you, but this time coming from the legend that is Pete Tong. Teaming up with Paul Rogers again their new track Headstrong is a true crowd pleaser.

Some "Wobble Wobble Wobble" Fidget/Dirty House for you now, hailing from San Bernadino, California. Not much is known about them other than they are called The Gooniees (spelt with two e's) Their track Africa is by far my favourite 10/10 easily.

Now some 80's stylised Synthpop/Disco House Crockett's Theme by Michael Cassette. This is a great rework of the original by Jan Hammer for Miami Vice. Sounds like OVERWERK & Vangelis tracks have just been thrown into a blender. What do you think?

Next we have a track from Alan & Paul, I can't find much information on the pair other than they are signed to Danceandlove. Their track Tintarella Di Luna (Paki & Jaro Remix) will certainly remind people of Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup's bomb 'We No Speak Americano'

I normally hate, with a passion, remixes of incredibly famous songs such as Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve. But Ellrich & Plaice have created a remix/cover that I can't argue with. A Tech-House version that keeps in tune with the original and doesn't just ruin the song.

Christian Luke from Melbourne, Australia, in the last 4 years has remixed tracks for some of the worlds biggest artists. Such as, Dirty South, Carl Kennedy, StoneBridge, Kurd Maverick & many others. In 2008 his remix of Kurd Maverick's "Blue Monday" was stuck at the number 1 position of the charts for 8 weeks, also being played on Pete Tongs show on Radio 1. Here we have a new mix from him; Kanye West featuring Pusha T - RUNAWAY (Christian Luke ReVibe) a very nice house track, sounding familiar to the works of The Lindbergh Palace.

Before I bombard you some great previews of tracks expecting release in 2011 I have found this superb track from budding producer Conner Youngblood from Dallas, Texas. His track Monsters really is fantastic, I really can't stop hyping about it. Conner throws in a mix of Dubstep, his own vocals and what must be a banjo of all things. I like to call it Banjostep, maybe the start of a whole new genre haha.

Albin Myers, one of Swedens superstar DJ's has remixed an awesome version of Oskar Linnros' track Genom Eld. A fusion of vocals, house, and bouncy bass.

Next we have Belgian producer Basto!. New track called Gregory's Theme which was played on Pete Tong's 3/12/10 show. This will be a house bomb, piano, synths and all out awesomeness.

Pryda aka Eric Prydz called Illusions. Pryda has been very busy the last couple of months creating some, sure to be, amazing tracks for 2011. Illusions certainly is one of them. First heard on the Pete Tong show the other week.

Finally we have a track which has been released today, Jordy Lishious - Radiator (Funkagenda & Jordy Lishious Re-Edit) a tech-house/progressive house. This certainly has a run-in for one of the top 10's of 2010, will be on my top 10 list.
